Katti(Tor mussallah)is one of the cultivable food fishes native to Kerala.It is an excellent sport fish/game fish that provide unparalleled recreation to anglers better than trout and salmon (the well known sport fish in northern America and Europe) and also help promote eco-tourism. It is common name is Humpback Mahseer-Musallah and its scientific name is Barbus Tor Musalla in class cyprindae habitate to fresh water.
